This summer, I decided to do a basketball camp to get me in shape for when I play school basketball in 5th grade this year. This camp was made for future basketball players, and to raise money for the High School basketball team. The girls on the basketball team helped out to, which I thought was pretty cool! We worked on shooting, passing, ball handling, and dribbling. On the second day, I won the Hustle Award, and got candy. My best friend did it with me because she loves basketball too! We would do relay races, and my team won most of the time. I had a great time at camp!

Aloha!
This year for Spring Break we went Oahu, Hawaii.
Me, Blake, and Dad are swimming in the beautiful ocean where my mom just sat on shore reading her book! She was good at wasting days on the beach.
This is the beach right around the corner from where we were staying. We came here every night right before we would eat dinner.
We went to the Hawaii Temple and walked around it at night. It looks beautiful when it's lit up.
This is Me, Blake, and Dad fishing at the Polynesian Cultural Center. There were some pretty big fish down there but I only caught a tiny gray fish.
At the Polynesian Cultural Center, there was a canoe pageant. The canoe pageant was in a lake with different boats of the countries we visited. This boat is the country of New Zealand. They are a warrior country so they looked and sounded scary.
This boat is dressed up as Fiji, they have a really cool dance that they do. I think Fiji was one of my favorites.
This is the country of Tonga. As you can see they are wearing tons of red. In this country the girls dance with flowers. This country is really quiet and plays very calm music.
This is our last country, Tahiti. They wear very interesting outfits. Their grass skirts look really cool when these girls dance. They move back and forth really fast. I had an AWESOME time in Hawaii.
